It’s been a bit of a quiet week over here. Last Saturday we unexpectedly had to put our old lab Roland down while Travis out of town. Lots of tears and sad kids (and a sad mama). I have never been so thankful for our family. My sister, in-laws and some dear friends came to the rescue and were a loving support system until Travis got home. That silly old dog has been with our family since Travis and I were dating in college. He’s just been a part of our normal routine for so long it’s just felt a bit “off” this week.
The weather has been so beautiful here the past few days. Crisp and “fall-like”. We’ve been doing our schoolwork outside on the trampoline and spending the afternoons outside playing. There is nothing better than seeing the kids laying on the trampoline with their math books. Those kind of moments are the ones that make all the hard parts of homeschooling worth it!
And because it’s Friday, here are a few of my favorites lately!
+ My sister is a hairdresser and gave me this deep conditioner at my last hair appointment. I use it twice a week and LOVE how it’s made my hair feel! A little goes a long way so this tub should last you awhile.
+ If you’re a young mama and you haven’t read what Jen Hatmaker wrote on Facebook this week… go NOW and read this.
+ I made these Pumpkin Donut Muffins this week and y’all… they are DIVINE! Such a tasty treat with a cup of coffee!
+ I have purchased several learning bundles through a site called Ultimate Bundles and every single time I walk away feeling inspired about whatever it is I’m learning about at that time. In a nutshell, Ultimate Bundles puts together a TON of resources on particular subjects (blogging, photography, crafting, business, etc.). On MONDAY they’re launching a 2 day only sale on their HOMEMAKING Bundle. Y’all… I was able to get it a bit early and it is SO GOOD! There are 12 categories (Creativity, In the Kitchen, Faith, Finance, Home Decor, Intentional Living, Marriage, Motherhood, Organizing and Systems, Recipes, Self-Care and Work-at-home).
You don’t need to read through all the resources in a 2 day period… you can save everything that you’re wanting to dig into for later. This bundle has over $2283 worth of products for $29.97. It comes with 2 Summits, 21 eCourses, 50 eBooks, 1 Membership, 4 Audios and Videos, 14 Printables, 13 Workbooks and 10 bonuses (one of them being a month of Kiwi Crate for your kids for free!). Just click the link HERE to get on the reminder list for Monday!
Hope you have had a wonderful week! On Monday I’ll be back with a post on marriage and a challenge we’re getting ready to do ourselves! Happy Weekend 🙂
