Living Small- Living Room

Our living room is where we spend the majority of our time.
I think what makes a smaller living room doable is to make sure there is plenty of seating.
We squeezed a coach, large chair and smaller chair on one side of the living room.
And on the other side we have a dresser with our tv on top.
One of my biggest tips in decorating in a smaller house is to use dressers.
We have one to place our tv on as well as another one in our dining room.
The extra drawers are perfect for storing odds and ends.
Books, dvd’s, remotes, toys, etc.
A few random bits about the living room….
I am a blanket and pillow hoarder.
It’s the one thing that I have no problem having a BILLION of.
We are blanket people over here… any time we curl up on the couch we like to have a blanket:)
I have had a few people ask how I did the collage wall.
There honestly was no rhyme or reason.
I had a hammer and some nails.
I literally just hung the pictures where I thought they would look good as I went.
For the side wall I wanted to create a collage that angled down…
just in case you were wondering why it was catty-whompus;)
If you have any questions leave them in the comments and I will address them at the end of the week!
Happy Monday friends!

  12. loving your small living series. we are transitioning into a new position in ministry, moving, selling our home, and making the choice to live in a 2 bedroom apartment for 6 months. Finding your beautiful home to be encouraging. The home we currently live in has little-to-no closet space so we have relied on our dressers for storage in every room of the house πŸ™‚
