This recipe makes a 9×13 sized pan of coffee cake. For our large family, I’ll usually double the recipe and it is perfect and so simple to throw together before school this fall!
You'll want to mix you dry ingredients together--most of which I am sure you already have on hand! This is an easy breakfast for your big kids to make as well!
Pour the batter into your 9×13 pan. Then make your topping and you're done! The topping is the best part so don't skimp on it!
Now in a smaller bowl, mix together your oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and softened butter until you have a crumbly topping. Sprinkle on top of the batter--the best part!
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until your coffee cake is done in the middle. You can insert a knife to check if it is done. Enjoy! You can also add fruit before you bake if you want!
