This is one of those meals that my entire crew inhales and is a big family favorite. Perfect for a cozy fall dinner or after a busy day homeschooling!

Ingredients:

olive oil

chuck roast

au jus gravy mix

ranch dressing mix

salted butter

peperoncini peppers

Add the roast to your hot skillet. Sear each side of the pot roast for a few minutes.  But, if you don't have time, you can skip this step, but I suggest it!

Just transfer your pot roast to your crock pot and you're basically done!  SO EASY and you'll be amazed at the taste!

Sprinkle the dry ranch dressing and au jus gravy packets over the top of the pot roast.

Top with your half a stick of butter (it works best if you cut it into pats).  Don't forget your peppers...which makes this roast so tasty!
