Pour the water into a large sauce pan. Add in the dried elderberries, cinnamon sticks and cloves. All of these ingredients you can find easily at your local grocery store.
Bring to a full boil. Remove the pot from the stove and let it cool until you're able to handle it.
Mash the berries carefully with a spoon or potato masher. Pour the berry mixture through a finer strainer into a large bowl or large glass jar. I like to use the bottom of a glass to squeeze all the last juices out!
Once the liquid has cooled completely, carefully stir in your raw honey or if you have local honey, even better!
