It is simple and easy! Pour the water into a large sauce pan. Add in the dried elderberries, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
Bring to a boil. Remove the pot from the stove and let it cool until you're able to handle it.
Mash the berries carefully with a spoon or potato masher. Pour the berry mixture through a finer strainer into a large bowl or large glass jar. Be sure to get all the juices out of the berries!
Once the liquid has cooled completely, carefully stir in your raw honey.
