3 Reasons to Switch to Wool Dryer Balls
If you’ve been wanting to clean up what ingredients you’re bringing into your home, I would suggest starting with the simple swap of replacing your dryer sheets for wool dryer balls. Below you’ll find my 3 reasons to switch to wool dryer balls! 
Last year was full of changes for our family when it came to choosing what products we were using in our home as well as what we were using on our bodies. If you’ve read the blog for any amount of time, you know I made a pretty big jump from one skincare company over to Beautycounter. If you’re like I was, it can feel a bit overwhelming as to where to start when it comes to cleaning up the ingredients in your home. I want to encourage you to just do ONE thing at a time. Don’t try to tackle it all at once.

The easiest place to start is with your laundry. Get rid of your dryer sheets and swap them out for Wool Dryer Balls! I switched out our dryer sheets for Wool Dryer Balls last year and wish I had done it sooner. I’ve put together a list of 3 reasons WHY you should make this simple swap!
1. NO CHEMICALS OR FRAGRANCES
This reason alone is a great one to get rid of them. One of my little guys has sensitive skin when it comes to fragrance. Making the swap over to Wool Dryer Balls has prevented him from getting any itchy or red rashes on his skin. If you like to have scented laundry, then just apply a few drops of your favorite Essential Oils! I love to try out new blends. A few of my favorites are Orange+Lemon, Peppermint+Lavender and Peppermint+Orange. 2. IT SAVES YOU TIME
I have found that using Wool Dryer Balls helps to speed up the drying time of my laundry. The balls retain the heat and the weight of them help to fluff/dry the laundry a lot quicker than a traditional dryer sheet. If you find that your laundry has more static than normal, I would recommend filling a spray bottle (these are my favorite amber bottles) with water and a few drops of Essential Oils. Spritz down your balls with that water before you put them in with your clothing. The damp balls will help to eliminate some of the static.
3. IT SAVES YOU MONEY
The Wool Dryer Balls will last you forever! I have only had to replace one in a year and a half (it started to unravel a bit). You’re not only saving money not having to purchase dryer sheets, but you’re also saving on your electricity bill by shortening your drying time.
