I love serving hot breakfasts to my family every morning. It’s something that I have done for years and take great joy in! On the mornings where I want to serve a delicious hot breakfast with very little time spent in the kitchen, I’ll put together this Instant Pot Creamy Peanut Butter Oatmeal. It’s so creamy and delicious that it almost feels like dessert!

This is definitely not a diet type oatmeal. Instead it’s indulgent and my kids inhale it! The combination of the Instant Pot rolled oats and heavy whipping cream makes this dish extra creamy. For the peanut butter, I love using Powdered Peanut Butter. If you’ve never used Powdered Peanut Butter before, it’s amazing! It makes tiny little peanut butter chunks in the oatmeal that my kids love. You can definitely substitute regular peanut butter if you don’t have the powdered version.

There are several reasons I prefer Instant Pot Oatmeal to stove top!
1. There is less mess! I find that with stovetop oatmeal, it bubbles over leaving me with oatmeal that needs to be cleaned up later. With the Instant Pot the oatmeal stays contained inside.

2. I can walk away! This is honestly my favorite part! I can simply throw the ingredients into the Instant Pot, then walk away to finish up my morning chores. Or… just enjoy another cup of coffee! I don’t have to stand by the stove stirring or making sure the oatmeal isn’t going to boil over.

3. It comes out perfect EVERY single time. The consistency of this oatmeal is creamy every single time! Whenever I cook oatmeal on the stove I always had a hard time getting the consistency to be creamy and not thick.
